This is a unique expression of Argentinian Sauvignon Blanc that comes from a single vineyard in the extreme terrain of La Carrera. Loam and gravel soils are 1700m above sea level- the coldest region of Mendoza. After 4 days of skin maceration, the wine goes into French oak barrels and is fermented by wild yeast. The result is beautiful aromas of pineapple, hay, and herbs, with a smooth texture and lightning acidity. This very special wine comes from a special Argentine producer- after countless harvests around the world, Matías Riccitelli returned to his native Argentina to explore the terroirs of Mendoza and the teachings of his mentor and father, Jorge Riccitelli. Don’t miss this opportunity to try a wine that truly speaks to its place and the hands that made it!
