This red-but-technically-orange wine is a bit of an enigma… Grolleau Gris, a special little grey-skinned grape typically used for blending in white and sparkling wines, sees 1 month on its skins, giving it a light red/rosé colour. With aromas of cranberry, raspberry, blood orange, and fresh herbs, and a palate with dry, crunchy red fruit and taut acidity. So is it skin contact? Yes. Is it red? Yes. Is it orange? Well… yes! Is it delicious? ABSOLUTELY.
