From one of Austria’s best biodynamic wine producers, the Red Solera is a truly intoxicating wine. Roesler and Zweigelt are fermented and matured in barrels, while the Cabernet goes into Amphora. There is absolutely nothing added and the result is a masterclass in a glass of pure and intentional natural wine-making. The nose is herbaceous as anything, giving us spice, sun dried bell peppers, tomato, and oregano. Honestly… we’ve dubbed it the “Pizza Wine” because it smells like the freshest slice you’ve ever had. On the palate, all those gorgeous Italian herbs and juicy tomatoes carry over, and play well with the plentiful blackberries and crunchy tannins. Run, don’t walk, for the Red Solera… we can’t promise we won’t be hoarding it for ourselves!
