Winemakers Carolina Alvarado and Arturo Herrera, with their agricultural backgrounds, have long been devoted to living wines, and producing them sustainably. There is absolutely no electricity used in their production - everything is done by hand with great care to respect the terroir and pre-industrial fermentation practices of the region of Marga Marga. Rojo Loco is a party of a blend featuring País, Pink Moscatel, Cristal, Cuyana, and San Francisco. Everything co-ferments in a unique method developed by the winemakers in which tanned cow-hide is introduced to the must. Tip-toeing into deep rosé territory, this white/red/pink-skin blend has a floral and subtly smokey nose, with bright, punchy acid and fruit on the palate. So delicious, this is definitely the wine we’re bringing to impress at our next get-together!
