Winemakers Carolina Alvarado and Arturo Herrera, with their agricultural backgrounds, have long been devoted to living wines, and producing them sustainably. There is absolutely no electricity used in their production - everything is done by hand with great care to respect the terroir and pre-industrial fermentation practices of the region of Marga Marga. The Blanco Cooperado comes from 30-year Chardonnay vines, which are hand harvested and foot-stomped. The wine ferments for 12-15 months in cement vats before bottling. The nose is opulent with aromatic spices. The palate is full bodied (15%!) with refined texture, a touch of tropical fruit, and saline minerality. This is a Chardonnay to challenge your perceptions and expand your palate!
