Gilvesy winery is located in the outskirts of Lake Balaton, near an ancient dormant volcano, in Hungary. This Sauvignon Blanc from the volcanic soils of Szent György Hill was fermented in steel tanks and aged on fine lees. It is a perfect and classic cool-climate example of Sauvignon Blanc with very gentle notes of fresh grass and green peppers, accompanied by savoury herbed aromas. The palate is bright and crisp with ripe lemon lime acidity, and a salty mineral finish.
