The Champs Pentus Blanc is a Roussanne dominant blend with Grenache Blanc, grown organically on hillside vineyards in the outskirts of the Faugères appellation. After being hand- harvested, the grapes are destemmed and gently pressed. A long and slow fermentation in stainless steel tanks and neutral oak barrels, enhances the aromas and the flavour. Medium gold in colour, on the nose the Champs Pentus Blanc is highly floral, with aromas of candied quince and beeswax. On the palate, it is light to medium bodied, but with lush texture and a honeyed aftertaste. It has a lovely fresh bitterness, apricot skin-like acidity and a playful and airy finish.
