Roughly equal parts, Zinfandel, Petit Sirah, and Carignan with a small amount of Barbera blended in, sourced from a single vineyard in Mendocino County grown by fifth generation farmers. The Carignan in particular comes from 90 year old, dry farmed vines. The blend is aged in neutral French oak. Cranberry, blackberry, citrus, and earth are well defined here with gentle tannins meeting the acidity on the palate. Chillable, but with just enough grip to stand up to almost any dish you might pair it with. A medium bodied wine with good structure that truly belongs on the table at every meal.
